Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Backwoods Mule and Wagon wants everyone to be able to read about our experiences and get in touch with us easily.
What we aim for
We build and maintain this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our reference point. That is our goal rather than a certification.
What we've done
Across this site we've worked to make sure:
- Pages use headings and landmarks in a logical order.
- Navigation, buttons, links, and the contact form can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Form fields have visible, associated labels and clear error messages.
- Photographs have descriptive alternative text.
- Text and buttons are sized and colored for readability, and layouts work on phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations
Some of our photographs come from real days out with guests, and image quality varies. Content we link to on Facebook is outside our control, and the fonts we load come from a third-party provider.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this website is hard to read or use, please tell us — it helps us fix it. Email backwoodsmuleandwagon@gmail.com or call or text (706) 972-8776. If you'd rather not use the contact form for any reason, calling or texting works just as well and we're glad to plan your experience over the phone.
