Meet Your Hosts

Meet Jaime & Jason

Jaime and Jason Morgan have spent more than 20 years working with mules and wagons. What began as a love for the slower pace, hard work, and beauty of mule country has grown into a family business they are excited to share with others.

Whether you are planning a private ride, gathering your family, celebrating something special, or looking for a meaningful wedding experience, Jaime and Jason want every guest to feel welcome and leave with a memory worth keeping.

The Heart of Backwoods

Meet Jim & Joe

Jim and Joe are 7-year-old Belgian mule brothers—calm, well-mannered, and full of personality. They have trained and ridden on multiple 100-mile wagon trains and are used to covering 20–30 miles on weekend rides.

They are more than the team that pulls the wagon—they are a big part of what makes every Backwoods experience special.

Our Promise

What You Can Count On

Family Hospitality

You're greeted by our family, not a ticket counter. Ask questions, take your time, and settle in like a neighbor stopping by.

Gentle, Experienced Mules

Jim and Joe are calm, seasoned, and used to long miles — steady enough for little ones and grandparents to ride easy.

Memories Made at a Slower Pace

No rush and no crowds. Just mountain views, quiet backroads, and time with the people who came along with you.
